December 2017 - Yan's paper on predicting CTCF-mediated chromatin interactions is on bioRxiv.


August 2017 - The Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory was awarded a 2-year R03 grant to study the cross-talk between epigenetics and metabolism in pancreatic cancer.

​December 2016 - GW Cancer Center grand opening!

August 2016 - The Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory moved to the newly established GW Cancer Center on the 8th floor of the Science and Engineering Hall. (

June 2016 - The Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory awarded a seed grant from the GW Cancer Center and a Cross-Disciplinary Research Fund from the GW Office of the Vice President (in collaboration with Dr. Peng, Department of Physics) to study chromatin organization.   

March 2016 - Jaclyn's paper on the role of KDM2B in hematopoietic malignancies is published in JCI. 

September 2015 - Coen joins the lab!

June 2015 -  Nicole is awarded a Luther Rice Fellowship from the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences.
